It’s common to resist difficult emotions, and sometimes feel trapped. Do you find that you are surrounded by toxic positivity, or uncertain of how to make positive change? There are many ways to heal while we honour the struggles we walk through. You know what’s best for you, but sometimes it helps to have someone to walk alongside us during our healing journeys.
With a fierce passion for wellness, I am committed, unwaveringly, to honoring each client’s place in my practice. I provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space for you to explore your experiences, become better acquainted with yourself, and find deeper meaning within your story. I build trusting, compassionate channels of communication, and have experience working with diverse individuals, from transitioning veterans, burnt-out parents, and perinatal clients, to the LGBTQ+, kink and non-monogamous communities.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, I have degrees in Philosophy, Classical Archaeology, Religious Studies and Counselling Psychology (candidate) from Brock, McMaster and Yorkville Universities. I have been in the wellness industry for nearly two decades as a certified nutritionist, mindfulness coach, birthing educator, Thai massage practitioner, yoga instructor as well as a qualifying Psychotherapist. I bring a myriad of knowledge, skill, and experience into my practice which allows for me to work from a biopsychosocial framework, considering your mental health from every direction. With your unique needs and intersectionality in mind, our work together is always collaborative while we establish your individualized goals for therapy and the best way forward for you.
