I am so excited to be a part of Roots in Wellness for the final stage of my master’s journey.
I have been in the helping field for the last 15 years, and for 10 of those years, I have worked with adolescents struggling with disordered eating and body image concerns. I also have extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, parent-child conflict, low self-esteem, self-harm tendencies, behavioural concerns, and other areas where support can be beneficial.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a diploma in Child and Youth Work
(Accelerated) and soon will have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
My approach to counselling is all about collaboration. I come from a person-centred framework, believing that you have the potential and strength within to create and obtain your goals. I am here to work with you and support you as you achieve your successes on the path to living the best version of your life.
When I am not working with clients, I enjoy reading, taking my pup for long walks, spending time with loved ones, and trying to better my green thumb at plant-minding.
