Yoga & Mindfulness Groups

Kayleen Edwards is a registered yoga teacher who offers not only yoga groups, but yoga groups that integrate mental health strategies and mindfulness practice.

Typical groups last for around 6 weeks, and involve weekly 2-hour meetings where group members meet with Kayleen and Jennifer to practice yoga and mindfulness and learn new techniques for coping with stress and anxiety. Yoga in the groups is accessible for all levels, from beginner to experienced. It is always the participants’ personal choice as to how they wish to engage in the yoga poses and how much information they would feel comfortable disclosing (or not) during the group. Sometimes it may be healing to be in the presence of the group without saying much, and that’s okay too. In this program we truly strive to meet participants where they are at in their own journey, wherever that may be.

MYT Spring 2019 InstaMindful Yoga Therapy – Spring 2019

Join us at the end of March as we lay down our mats and engage in mindful movement together. Learn how to identify and cope with difficult thoughts and feelings in a more effective manner.

We will work with you to help you define what is important in your life and help you take steps to begin moving towards those things. Our safe and confidential group allows you to gain insight from others while sharing your own difficulties in a supportive and inviting environment.



Therapy Groups

Therapy groups are offered in a number of different styles and categories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), stress, anxiety, mindfulness-based, and more.
