Group Therapy

Yoga & Mindfulness Groups

Kayleen Edwards is a registered yoga teacher who offers not only yoga groups, but yoga groups that integrate mental health strategies and mindfulness practice.

Typical groups last for around 6 weeks, and involve weekly 2-hour meetings where group members meet with Kayleen and Jennifer to practice yoga and mindfulness and learn new techniques for coping with stress and anxiety. Yoga in the groups is accessible for all levels, from beginner to experienced. It is always the participants’ personal choice as to how they wish to engage in the yoga poses and how much information they would feel comfortable disclosing (or not) during the group. Sometimes it may be healing to be in the presence of the group without saying much, and that’s okay too. In this program we truly strive to meet participants where they are at in their own journey, wherever that may be.

Therapy Groups

Therapy groups are offered in a number of different styles and categories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), stress, anxiety, mindfulness-based, and more.

Health and Wellness groups focus on overall health and wellness, combining physical and mental health to promote overall wellness.
