“Having a warm and empathetic environment where you can freely explore and express your feelings can make all the difference.”

As your therapist, I’ll strive to bring my authentic self to our sessions and infuse our conversations with kindness, empathy, and a little humour. I take a person-centered approach to care and prioritize creating a warm and safe environment where you can freely explore and express your feelings. My goal is to collaborate with you to identify your goals, unpack the messiness that comes with life and navigating relationships, and I hope to help you gain a fresh perspective on your experiences. I’ll help you identify and build upon your strengths and support you as you learn how to put new ways of thinking and coping into practice.

Some of my other approaches include:

  • Emotion Focused Therapy
  • Relational Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Therapy

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Previous experience supporting youth and young adults in community mental health has shaped my approach as a therapist, emphasizing authenticity, connection, creativity, and laughter in therapy. I welcome clients of all identities and strive to create a safe, affirming space free of judgment.

Education:

  • Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP): Yorkville University
  • Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) in Foundations of Clinical Psychology: Southampton University (Southampton, UK)
  • Honour’s Bachelor’s of Science (B.Sc.) in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour: McMaster University
  • Addiction Studies Certificate: McMaster University

Outside of my professional life, I’m a new mom, learning firsthand how transformative (and overwhelming!) life transitions can be. I know how easy it is to lose yourself in change, and how difficult it can be to tune into who you are and what truly matters. In this season of life, I enjoy walking, gardening, listening to podcasts, and bringing creativity into my home through DIY and home improvement projects.

Parenthood has deepened my patience, empathy, and understanding of work-life balance and self-care. It has also strengthened my love and gratitude for the simple things in life—like a warm cup of tea, baking something sweet, or simply being fully present with friends and family. I strive to bring this same presence, mindfulness, and gratitude into the therapy room, creating a space where you feel grounded, seen, and supported as you navigate your own journey.

If you think we’d be a good fit, I offer free 15-minute consultations and am currently accepting new clients for video and phone sessions. I’d love to hear from you!
