Do you feel like you’re running on empty, with no safe place to rest and recharge? Life can be overwhelming, especially when you feel like you are carrying heavy burdens by yourself. Your story matters, and you deserve a place to feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. It takes courage to reach out for support, and I am so glad you are taking this step for your well-being.
I bring a warmth and a gentleness to my work. Your vulnerability and life experience deserve to be held with care and profound respect. I believe in the strength you have within you. Instead of ignoring your strengths or pathologizing some coping strategies, I strive to truly see and appreciate every part of who you are. Together, we can explore the complex layers of your experiences, process the emotions they evoke, and begin the journey toward healing and self-empowerment.
As a therapist, I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive practice where everyone feels
valued, respected, and understood. I am dedicated to providing support that honours the unique experiences of BIPOC, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I deeply honour each client’s cultural and faith identities. I also strive to create a space where we can collaboratively incorporate your values, interests, and culture into therapy if that feels meaningful.
My goal is to create a compassionate space where you can tell your story, gain insights from
your experience, cultivate greater self-compassion, reconnect to your values, and restore trust in yourself and the world around you. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and we can work together to decide what modalities and techniques best foster your needs and goals. Â You are not alone, and there is hope for healing. If this approach aligns with what you are looking for, please feel free to reach out for a free fifteen-minute consultation.
Professional Background
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University.
I completed a Bachelor of Child and Youth Care at Humber College. During this degree, I
completed practicums in a treatment foster home and a youth shelter. These experiences helped me develop a passion for working with those who felt belittled, unseen, or alone in their pain. Later, I obtained an early childhood education diploma. This diploma has helped enhance my understanding of early childhood experiences, the importance of celebrating identity from a young age, and the importance of supporting parents during the early years. I have also worked as a postpartum doula, providing emotional and practical support for parents facing systemic barriers (racism, transphobia, poverty, etc.) and trauma histories (refugees, sexual abuse histories, etc). In addition, I volunteer for NanKind, an organization that provides free respite childcare for parents undergoing cancer treatments.
On a Personal Note…
During my teenage years, I began seeing a therapist for the first time. Although it felt a little nerve-wracking at the start, the experience deeply impacted me. I aim to bring a steady, welcoming presence into the therapy space, especially for those who may feel uncertain about beginning therapy.
My work with neurodivergent clients is informed by both personal and professional experience.
Outside of work, I spend time with my wife and child, and enjoy yoga and songwriting.
I offer free 15-minute consultations and provide virtual and phone therapy across Ontario
