“Everyone’s journey is different—let’s find what works for you.”

Sometimes change can be hard and overwhelming. Being an immigrant, I have experienced the difficulty of making life changing decisions alone and the struggles associated with it. You are not alone. Having lived amongst different cultures, I have adopted a therapeutic approach that is multicultural and culturally sensitive.  I am passionate about working with clients who face challenges with racial identity, school issues and anxiety from transitions in life.

I aim to empower clients by helping them process their trauma from racial discrimination or realize their full potential by alleviating their anxiety caused by various situations in life. I utilize mindfulness to help heal the relationship between our mind and bodies and it can also help us to be present and relieve some of the stress in our lives. I also use a strength based and person-centered approach in my counselling to help you strengthen your voice and take control of your life. People thrive when they are able to process their thoughts and emotions in a safe space and without judgement. Each person is unique, therefore therapy is not “one size fits all”. Let us find what works for you.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in French from Memorial University of Newfoundland, I worked with children and youth with mental health issues. I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am currently a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). My approach is rooted in inclusivity, and I have pursued specialized training in trauma-informed care, cultural sensitivity, and integrating feminist principles into therapy.

My experience includes working with individuals navigating racial identity, life transitions, and anxiety, and I am committed to creating a supportive space where clients feel empowered in their healing journey.

Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about martial arts, particularly Jiu-Jitsu, which has played a significant role in my mental and physical well-being. I also enjoy staying active
through weightlifting and hiking when the weather allows. At the same time, I appreciate balance—whether it’s cooking a comforting meal, watching a good movie, or staying connected with loved ones.

I offer phone, video and chat sessions and I look forward to meeting you in our free consultation call and I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.
