“But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself-to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who are so that you aren’t trapped by them.” – Lori Gottlieb

“Therapy takes great strength, dedication, and bravery. As your therapist, my role is to accompany you as you journey through this period of self discovery and work. Together, we can work together to find meaning and change in your life.”

Whether you’re struggling with stress, relationship issues, trauma, self-doubt, or emotional burnout, therapy is a space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My approach to therapy involves exploring all parts of your life and uncovering the hidden emotions and meanings. I believe therapy is a reflection of real life, where the challenges, patterns, and growth we experience in session often reflect our everyday experiences.

I take an integrative approach, meaning I tailor therapy to your unique needs. Though I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, I believe the most meaningful work happens when we co-create a personalized approach. That often means taking pieces from different methods to form a puzzle that fits your unique life story.

I believe that therapy works best when it’s collaborative, you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to guide and support you. Let’s explore how we can work together toward meaningful discovery and growth!
  • 5+ years in the Social Service field working with individuals (youth, families, and single women) who have experienced abuse, mental health challenges, trauma,
    addiction, etc.
  • Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
  • Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University
  • Honors Bachelor in Social Psychology from McMaster University

My work in social services and my experience as the daughter of a Chinese immigrant family have given me a profound appreciation for resilience and the role of culture (e.g., sexuality, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, etc.) in shaping our stories. I value self-awareness, honesty, and personal growth. I believe we all relate with feeling the importance of caring for others while neglecting ourselves. Outside of therapy, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, engaging in physical activity, music, stand-up comedy, and reading.

Let’s explore how we can work together toward meaningful discovery and growth! If you feel we are a good match, I am here to help!
