If you’ve recently landed in a new community and are feeling a bit overwhelmed, you’re in the right place. I totally get that adapting to a new place can be tough, and I’m here to help you navigate through it. I provide a safe space where you can freely share your thoughts and experiences. Whether you’re facing cultural shock or just trying to find your groove, we’ll work together to not only tackle the challenges but also celebrate the wins along the way. My main goal is to help you blend into your new community while holding onto the beautiful aspects of your cultural identity.

I approach our sessions with understanding, cultural sensitivity, and genuine support. It’s not just about counseling; it’s about building a connection that helps you grow and overcome any challenges you might be carrying

Professional Background

If you’re experiencing stress due to significant life changes, I’ll work with you to help you acclimate to your new situation and reclaim your life.

Holder of a Bachelor’s in Community Health, I received the 2022 Dr. William Whitelaw Award for Best Presentation in the History of Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary’s 31st History of Medicine Days.

Specializing in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I bring extensive experience from facilitating the Partner Assault Response program, focusing on domestic violence intervention.

On a Personal Noteā€¦

Beyond my professional life, being the oldest of six siblings grants me insights into complex family dynamics, enhancing my understanding and empathy in working with individuals, couples, and families.
