Professional Background

I hold a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Akron (Ohio, USA) and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Jadavpur University (Kolkata, India). Additionally, I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have completed Gottman Level 1 Training in Couples Therapy and specialize in this area. My main therapeutic approaches include Gottman Methods Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

On a Personal Note…

Outside of therapy, I find joy in cherished moments with friends, nurturing meaningful connections that bring laughter and support. I also love to explore new places as traveling fuels my sense of adventure, immersing me in diverse cultures and creating lasting memories that shape my perspective. During my free time, you will usually find me cozied up on my couch with a warm blanket. I enjoy binge-watching captivating TV shows or my favorite sitcoms.
